John (Jake) Jacobs helped form the Bermuda Folk Club in the sixties, performed on two albums with the folk group Cornucopia in Maryland in the eighties, and has been playing music ever since. He performed with Holly Williams for ten years in Colorado and they produced a Celtic album âTried and Trueâ in 1998. With Holly and others, Jake produced an old time album âDancing Down the Moonâ in 1999, a Christmas album âTurning of the Yearâ in 2000, Celtic albums âCeltic Goldâ in 2002 and âPurple Heatherâ in 2004. Jake produced his first solo album, Celtic Isles in 2006 with guest artists.
