I have been on a lifelong spiritual, musical journey constantly seeking out as much musical knowledge and wisdom from books, friends, and mentors as possible. To be a successful musician in this world, youâve got to live it. Itâs not about the money or fame, itâs knowing that youâve done everything in your power to play with people better than yourself and challenge yourself musically every day. Knowing music is one thing, but playing with passion, feeling, and from the heart is everything. So, in the words of Frank Zappa, âjust shut up and playâ.
