Jamie Ballard is a singer and song writer, is the son of James Ballard, Jr. a singer/song writer/musician. He was raised within a family which celebrated the arts, through musicianship, singing, writing, and acting. Initially Jamie identified more with behind or off stage aspects of the arts, but in 1993 he began to see and consequently express himself through lyric writing and singing. Earlier this year (2006) he released his first single entitled, Forgive Me Father. It has been played on Heaven 1580 AM (Washington, DC) and is currently being played on Heaven 600 AM (Baltimore, MD). He is currently working on a full project (album). He grew up outside of Annapolis, MD, and has over time been influenced by all genres of music, and many, many artists, from Al Green, to Stevie Wonder, to Prince, to Bob Marley, to Sting, to Seal, to KRS-1, to Biggie and Tupac, to Jay-Z and 50, to John Legend and Kurt Franklin, to name a few. All music is real music. Jamie feels, all people are artists, and were designed to express their gifts for the benefit of other people. So, heâs just doing his part. Jamie is also a life coach and a licensed psychologist, who works with artists or entertainers individually and/or as groups, helping them realize brilliance in both life and career.
