the jdj band is proud to present our first cd entitled:
cruel way.the cruel way cd is packed with 10 powerful
songs.the jdj band is jd jackson[me] and misty hammer.
i play guitar,vocals ans songwriter. misty who was 15 at the time of the recordind bangs away on the drums.our goal is to assault the world and piss off the government,
and bring hope in times of despair or just plain kick some fucking ass. bear with us as we continue our blitz.
our music is unique and original. it is old school punk
and classic rock tinged with power chord madness and relentless thumping from miisty's drums. my other band is :THE DESTROYED. we have a cd out entitled: russian roulette.the destroyed has been together since 76.
we have received very good reviews and are being played
throughout the country and europe. yea!
i began playing guitar at 16 and continued with it thankfully. my influences are:t,rex.the who,iggy pop and the stooges and the velvet underground and NIRVANA.
i have opened shows up for the ramones, dead boys, j.giels band-played with the cars and many other bands passing through from 1977 on. it's been a long road from my birthplace in texarkana texas to now. i have lived in boston, nyc,texas, and san francisco. my home is now lotus california.
i hope you like the jdjband and our first cd: cruel way.
