Details:
John Hurbon walked into the recording studio of JC Santalis and saw 150 CDs of recorded bands and artists on the wall and knew this was his next producer. Having previously toured Connecticut Daycares and Oakville's "Monkey Business - A Cool Gymnastics Place" the stage was set to get this second CD pressed. When along came WXCI Bridgeport, CT Radio Station to help promote a song called "The Bridgeport Cat Song" to benefit the plight of hungry cats in Bridgeport and care of cats in the harsh winter in Connecticut. Next came "Choice Pet Supply" with an offer to help sell John's "Puppy Song Party" at every register across Connecticut in exchange for a string of in store " Animal Song Concerts " which paved the way for "The News Times" of Danbury, CT to write the article "Musical Dad creates smart songs for children" on May 17th, 2004. What could be next ? The Music Guild of Danbury's Russ Mumma of MG Talent picks up Hurbon's CD and gives it to his grandson and another child gets to enjoy really fun and family-friendly music. So what does John do next? He retires from service to the State of Connecticut and moves the family to Arizona to begin recording the third and as yet unnamed CD with producer-genious Chris Brian Guzza who has a warm heart and love for www.cdbaby.com. What about the style and feel for "What If The Stars Played Guitars?" Simply put, "It's an experiment in living life through the eyes of animals and vegetables and love and enthusiasm for life." Please keep your creativity in fifth gear for this CD. Most of this CD is a reflection of real-life conversations with my imagination and the art of adding comedy to daily living. The Song " Would You Believe? " has the elements of a song that can change the world, that's where it's at for me. God Bless and keep everyone safe and free from worry. Your support of my music keeps children singing, laughing and loving all over the world. Orphanages in Costa Rica have been reached by Dr Raji Stachi and Family of Danbury, CT as have others in Africa, Puerto Rico, Sri Lanka and this has been the payoff - hope. I am no Bob Dylan but I know a real song when I hear it. Hope you get something special out of this CD with your kids. Best Regards, John Hurbon
