Stiles' second CD, "Solo Sessions", features him at his best, alone and live in studio with his guitar and voice singing all original tunes. Only the addition of a vocal harmony on one song and a tambourine on another separates this CD from a live solo performance though you wouldn't know it considering how full it sounds. Indeed Stiles comes out of the small and virtuosic school of ragtime and folkways fingerpickers but instead of being a revisionist, Stiles creates his own category.
