Details:
Fred Olmstead and Brian P. Rickard began playing music together in 1982. Johnny Love and Brian P. Rickard began playing music together in 1989. Now, for the first time in the 21st century, hear all 3 creating music together. In September of 2005, Brian P. Rickard and Johnny Love headed east to Flagstaff where they convened with Fred Olmstead to create this masterpiece. Together with their mobile unit they travelled to locations in the Mediterranean and the Middle East. Inspired by chaos, uncertainty, and good old Mother Nature they created an album that teeters far beyond the limits of sanity and takes a long hard look at the primitive animalistic impulses of humankind not far beneath the surface of 'acceptable' Society.

Equal parts beauty and shocking outrage, Katrina contains as usual the beautiful guitar work of Olmstead and Rickard. Johnny provides a lead vocal that hopscotches from lounge to punk to emo to hip-hop and back again. Brian displays his inimitable synthesizer stylings and all 3 take turns in the rhythm section.

Katrina is a must for your collection if you love thoughtful eclectic progressive Rock. Not for the squeamish, Katrina contains moments that will offend just about anyone. Please don't take any of this stuff personally, no offense... sorry if I'm rude.
