Details:
("My Last Last Goodbye") was written by inspiration from my personal experience in a relationship with a lady that I had met after the break up of my long-term marriage to the mother of my seven children. It was a give and take relationship. I gave and she took.
All of the remaining songs are sequential to my life experiences and inspired by my relationship with Theresa ("The Joy of My Life").
Theresa's break up with me ("You're Gone From Me").
My reflections on the relationship ("What I've Done"). Realizing that we are through ("We Are Through").
After having experienced much heartache and pain from grief of loss and many months later, while driving, in my car, to see Mount Rainier and Mount St. Helens, in Washington state ("It's Like Life").
Feeling that I had processed my grief and life is good ("It's Really Good to Be Alive").
Upon receiving a totally unexpected telephone call from Theresa, more than a year after she had left me ("The Choice").
Seeing a strand of Theresa's hair caught up in my folded handkerchief, about 18 months after she had parted, and remembering how comforting it was for me to see her hair on our bed pillows, ("A Strand of Hair").
Coming back together with Theresa and finding my love for her to be unwavering and hopeful, she blows me off again ("You Lose Again").
Listening to conversations with Theresa and reflecting on life and our choices as to how we deal with our thoughts and activities and associations ("Move On").
Almost every song came to me as I was driving in my car. It is of the Spirit.
