After a long musical career Jim Hendry retired to the small Scottish village where he grew up in order to pursue his interest in songwriting.
The initial song on his first CD "Mariners" came about after Jim was challenged by a friend to write a song about Seattle.
After researching the name "Mariner" discovered that the nickname applied to anyone born in the city.
Therefore the baseball team "Seattle Mariners" represents the whole of Seattle.
It is Jim's hope that the end result catches the spirit of this great city.
