Jim has been a guitar player and songwriter for over 25 years, culminating with this his first solo effort 'The Tower of Babble On'. It is a collection of different and creative instrumentals that do not follow the beaten path. From the ripping ode to Joe Satriani 'Breakfast with Joe' to the delicate jazz inspired 'Goodbye', Jim delivers potent songwriting with gripping technical prowess. No stranger to the spotlight, Jim has toured and performed with christian recording artists 'Kingdoms Call' as well as being lead guitarist and lead singer for the '80's Rock/pop band F.L.A. Rocks. He has opened for and performed with several rock icons including Foghat and Molly Hatchet and continues to play, tour and record whenever time will allow. Jim was also fortunate this year to be allowed to present a copy of 'The Tower of Babble On' personally to Joe Satriani....definately an audience with the king! Joe's response: "what? no dinner with Steve?". This is definately a don't miss CD!
