Jim OâKeeffe is a native of Athy, a small rural town in the midlands of Ireland. He has been playing and writing music for longer than he cares to remember. Influenced and inspired by such great artists as Rory Gallagher, Robbie Robertson and Eric Clapton. All his songs are guitar orientated, while retaining their ability to engage the listener with approachable lyrics.
This, his fourth cd is a collection of 14 songs written and recorded in 2005. Each song whether ballad or rock has that always present whisper of the blues running through it, with a distinct flavour of acoustic and electric guitars to the fore.
