His vocals range from soul, rhythm & blues, ballads, house the young MAN WORKING FOR HIS SUPPER.....he is a pulsating vocalist of love tunes. His love of singing goes back to his pre-teen days in Norfolk, VA. He and his sister wrote a song called "Winter", which he recorded.
Jesse wrote and released the single "Don't Trust Your Heart"In New York with the artest" Ernest Johnson" in 1985. He performed this song on the road to raise money for the homeless and appeared on radio station WOWI in Norfolk, VA to debut the singles' release.
Jesse has performed on stage with the likes of The Delfonics (1988) and Barry Manilow (1989). He's performed at Apollo Theatre, singing 'Oh Oh Baby' by Smokey Robinson (1990), also appeared on radion station 'The Beat', debuting a song he co-wrote with Ron Colbert entitled, "All My Love", which is featured on this CD.
