Biography (Jesse O. Johnson) ------- I grew up in Washington,D.C. Both parents raised me, but my brother and I lived with our mother.Nevertheless,Dad was always there for us.However,it was Mom who introduced me to music(and God who gave me the talent).I wrote my first song at age twelve,while in the Boy Scouts.Sang in local clubs in my teens.In 1986,now living in Los Angeles,I had a strong urge to give my Mom something special for Mother's Day.Something money could not buy.After pondering that desire for awhile,God gave me a song entitled (I Love) My Mother.I sang it in church that Sunday,everyone loved it ! I'd already sent a copy to my Mom in D.C. She loved it ! Afterwards, I sat down in deep thought before asking God, "From now on let me sing only about You,positivety,and love." Ever since then,I've done nothing else....but. Afterall,if I'm going to open my mouth, it should be worthwhile to the listener. I'll forever praise Him through song ---- through life.
