Ian is a native of LaGrange, GA where he lives with his wife, Misty, and their four sons: Caleb, Ryan, Timothy, and Jacob. Ian has been singing since age 5. At age 10, Ian sang in the Chamber Ensemble of the Atlanta Boy Choir, touring Europe and Mexico. He has sung for the Pope and other prominent dignitary leaders. In 1998, Ian graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor in Music. In addition to singing, Ian also plays piano, guitar and flute. He pulls from many diverse styles of playing ranging from classical to bluegrass. It's quite obvious that Ian loves to tell a story. As a masterful storyteller, he loves to get the listener to not only hear the songs, but nothing short of experiencing the lives of the people he tells. Sounds of joy, hope and love drip from his lyrics, while not leaving a stone unturned when dealing with such hardships like divorce and the sorrow of losing a loved one.
