This is Adam Ben's world-class solo secrete Over the past few years, Ben has been busy producing, engineering, programming or performing for local Bay Area artists (Luce, Shook, TnT, Mojo Deluxe, Jellow Hat, Peter Barshay) and Major Label artists (Savage Garden, Lara Fabian, Marc Antony) and now it's his turn to shine.

The CD, titled "thank u", contains nine cuts plus a hidden bonus track. Ben's lyrics show a willingness to have some fun and forego the heavy brooding rock scene, while his production chops are ready for prime time. All tracks were written, produced, performed and sundry by Ben. Additional guitar work was performed by Matt Blackett and Hirshel Yadovitz (Chris Issac). Steve Bowman (drums, Counting Crows, LUCE) makes a guest appearance on Scream (#5), along with Nashville's world-class call vocal diva, Lisa Cochran, handling backing vocals.

"Half the songs on the CD were conceived in my truck," says Ben, while the entire CD was created in Ben's Palo Alto studio, ARA. Contributing to his live lineup are Charlie Stockley, drums; Shelby Gaines, sampler, keyboards; Paul Everett, bass; Hillary Hightower, vocals; and guitar by Matt Blackett.
