Coming together for another collaboration, Sean Nerney and Erin Han bring you Aero, the newest album by I Hate This Place. Delicately blending the dark scatterings and pop sensibilities of their two previous albums and drawing influence from the likes of the Postal Service, the Notwist, and Console, the New York/Singapore based electronic duo have put together some of their best work yet.
âLet these turbulent thoughts gently rock me to sleep.â
The lyrics, melancholy and bittersweet, are brought to life by Erinâs beautiful and unique vocals coupled with Seanâs meticulous keyboard and production work. Though many of the songs are instantly catchy, they still possess depth and substance, making them appealing to fans of both the serious and silly.
âEscape the cage doors.â
Try Aero. We think youâll like it. Listen to our samples on the left for a good idea of what the album is all about. The disc features ten original songs, plus two remixes of Diversionsâ âParasiteâ by LA based DJ Ixian.
