Pop/Rock grooves with thought-provoking lyrics. Think Sheryl Crow meets Nichole Nordeman meets Amy Grant meets Natalie Imbruglia .... Sort of.

10 MP3 Songs
COUNTRY: Country Pop, POP: Today's Top 40

Details:
9D1 is the newest project by Dave MacLean following up the release of Sounds Like Dave/The Unforgiving Minute a few years back (also available on cdbaby). On this record, Dave enlists the help of two great singers, Danielle Pfuntner and Danielle Sillick, to breathe life into the songs. Dave and the two Danielle's are joined by some excellent local musicians including ex-Trey Anastasio (Phish) bassist Peter Chwazik, emmy-nominated composer/producer Casey Filiaci on keyboards, and the late guitar legend Mark Manetta, who lent his talents to one of the tunes.

The music features a mix of genres including pop, alternative rock and a little R&B. 9D1 is named after Psalm 91, one of Daves favorite Psalms and often referred to as the Soldiers Prayer. It is meant to remind us of God's unwavering faithfulness, as well as the faithfulness of those who serve to protect our country. Dave says "I'm very pleased with how the record turned out. It took awhile to get here but its been worth the trip"

I think you'll find that its worth a listen as well.
