I had a great time recording this song with my producer George Petit and Sera Buras on backgrounds. It was meant to be on the album "Blue Glitter Fish" but we felt that there was just not enough space. I love what Sera adds to this song. Her sweet voice is like the voice of the young woman in the story who just wants to be loved gently. George, per usual, kills on guitar. The song was originally written around 1994, but has grown and developed into something much deeper and I think better. Ah, the benefits of collaboration!
