David Dee Moore has just released his long waited solo CD âThe Almighty Warriorâ. The Irish born singer songwriter and producer David Dee Moore has worked with many musicians from Liam Clancy, Niamh Parsons and Brian Kennedy to writing musical scores for television, film and producing albums for the aforementioned Niamh and Irish traditional guitar player Jon Hicks acclaimed CD 'Chasing the Bear'.
David Dee recorded two CD's together with Niamh, both released on the US record label âGreen Linnetâ.The first album 'Loosely Connected' featured singer Brian Kennedy and world renowned Irish uileann piper John McSherry.The album became one of the top 10 folk albums in the UK in1994.The second CD 'Loosen Up' featured David Deeâs songs and production and celebrated the sound of some of Irelands top musicians i.e. Jimmy Higgins (Saw Doctors), Gerry (banjo) O'Connor, Mick McAuley (Solas) and one time members of the Van Morrison band, which is reflected in itâs eclectic sound.
In the past, David Dee had preferred to work under the band pseudonym 'The Loose Connections' playing in most of the top Irish and Folk festivals in The US, Canada, and Europe.

In the last 10 years, David Dee finally made that leap from the guy in the background to singer front man and it has been a revelation. His command of audiences and driving yet soulful guitar sound has made him a favourite on the Irish circuit. This will be David Deeâs first solo venture and his songs have a unique contemporary yet Irish sound.
