Stunning vocals and amazingly powerful lyrics abound in this Texas singer/ songwriter's debut cd; soulful, intimate voice is backed by some of the most awesome players on the music scene today.
10 MP3 Songs
POP: Today's Top 40, FOLK: Folk Pop
Details:
Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Harriet began her music career as a three year old, playing by ear the Chopin pieces she's just heard her mother playing on the piano. But the real fun began in high school when she painted her boyfriend's Sears Silvertone guitar fire engine red and went to town!
A veteran performer, Harriet is just as at home singing on the stages of Holiday Inns, as she is roaming the audiences of Six Flags Over Texas (searching for that special person to croon to), or entertaining thousands of military personnel from a USO flatbed truck. She especially loves doing house concerts, where audience and performer share an intimate space.
Her songwriting career was launched in the mid eighties when she was a finalist in the Houston KRBE song contest--earning herself a prized performance on the station's album--and she placed as a finalist in the national Marlborough Country Music Roundup. Her new cd "Full Tide" is a collection of powerful songs about life and love in today's world.
