Hail The Size is the LA-based duo of songwriter/comedian, Charles Ezell, and drummer, Matt North (who you may have seen on HBOâs Curb Your Enthusiasm as the William Morris Agent with the questionable cashmere sweater).

Hail The Size has the hippest live show in the greater LA area featuring special appearances by A-list guest musicians, comedians, and Charles Ezellâs hallowed characters, General Ulysses S. Grant and The Cop Poet - a true must see reality you can check out at The FAKE Gallery.

Not only is Charles Ezell one of the funniest men presently performing in LA, he is a prolific songwriter who takes not taking himself seriously very seriously.

Produced by Matt North, âSide Twoâ balances Ezellâs dark, comedic observations of the human condition with stark acoustic moments, infectious melodies, and razor-sharp wit.

The EP features guest performances by violinist J'Anna Jacoby (Rod Stewart, Glen Campbell), Kristian Hoffman (Rufus Wainwright, Dave Davies), Sean Caffey (Gina Villalobos), and bassist Clint Davidson (Ping, Bellylove).

Matt is also the resident drummer for The Paula Kelley Orchestra and recently produced Rob Kendtâs solo album âIâm Not Sentimentalâ on Ruby Records.

He has also recorded and performed live with such artists as Viktor Krauss (Lyle Lovett, John Fogerty), Blondie Chaplin (Rolling Stones, The Band), Abby Travis (Beck, The Bangles), Nicholas Tremulis, Jesse DeNatale, Jude, Mink Stole, and continues to be in demand as a studio musician.

Their upcoming full-length CD âLITE MUSIC FOR DARK PEOPLEâ will showcase 10 new original songs, performances by Paula Kelley, cellist Matt Fish (Alejandro Escavedo, John Cale), and is set to hit stores just in time for Christmas 2006.
