It's hard say something new, that hasn't already been said before about a new "Rock & Roll" band.

Hank & The Hankstirs owe their influence's to artist's like: John Lennon / Richie Furay / Van Morrison / and Nick Drake.
Though they have their own sound, some of these influence's might come threw in their songs in one way or another..

The 1st track "Lisa Ann" was written in the context of a present day John Lennon / Buddy Holly collaboration.
As with all "Hankstir" songs, they have a unique vocal style as well as great acoustic and electric guitars!!

It's all about being at a "Hankstir " show. Some of the tracks are live and some are in the studio. The live ones were used because of their excellent quality and that great feel that wasn't able to be repeated in the studio!!!

You start your show off with: "Lisa Ann" which is a great song anyway. Then you work your way into the fast lane. Hank takes "Little Wing" and puts his own spin on it, making it sound like he wrote it (he wishes)...
As the show continues you hear the "Hankstir" classic
"I'm Fallin"..This has always been a crowd pleaser even when they did acoustic coffee shops..
You can't help but feel like you stepped back into the 60's with "Hank's" version of "Shakin All Over". It's fast, energetic and sounds like you're in Liverpool during all the craze...

Whether they're doing a "Hankstir" original or a cover, they always put their stamp on it ..
