Details:
Often, the pain of heartbreak leads to first, despair; second, contemplation of life; and third, (thankfully) hope for the future.

This can not be seen more pointedly than in the music of Halo of Winter. Mixing the passion of Zao with the musical influences of Jimmy Eat World and Mae, Halo of Winter delivers their debut 11-song album, titled "The Stars Still Shine For a Lonely Heart".

Produced by The Class of *98's Steve Wilson (The Juliana Theory, Jonezetta) at Flickerlight Recording Co. in Nashville, TN, "The Starsâ¦" takes you intimately through the struggles, pain, complexity, and joy of all relationships in life. Blending upbeat pop with mellow acoustic guitar allows the emotion present in the album to come screaming out.

Singer, guitarist, pianist, and lyricist, Michael Steffen, opens up to his daringly honest thoughts, encouraging the listener to do the same. After playing music for the past 8 years, Halo of Winter has become a vehicle to vent, question, and grow. It isn't surprising then that Halo's music will push the listener to examine life: questioning everything and taking nothing for granted, leaving the listener above all else... inspired.
