Details:
HANK CRANE is a Boston-area band that features Adam Kelley (bass), Eric Faulkner (acoustic guitar & vocal), Craig Thomas (drums & vocal), and Eric Stevenson (vocal & guitar).
Hank Crane was originally formed in 1996 by Eric Stevenson and Craig Thomas. Eric began his career in 1989 as drummer and founding member of Only Living Witness. After releasing two albums on Century Media Records, as well as touring Europe and performing throughout the Northeast, he left in 1995 to pursue other musical interests.

Switching to lead vocal and guitar, he contacted drummer Craig Thomas, and in May of 1996 they formed Hank Crane. After a few line-up changes Adam joined the band, then guitarist Mark Donahue in 1997. After several shows that year they recorded and released a 5-song CD and distributed over 350 copies to radio stations and music publications throughout the United States and Europe.

Hank Crane built a following by performing in and around Boston, opening for such artists as Rivers Cuomo and Old 97's. They also received regular rotation on local music programs hosted by the major Boston-area radio stations, as well as on several Americana programs in Europe, Australia, and Asia.

In 1998 the band decided to split-up and go their separate ways. Craig, Adam, and Eric all began playing locally and recording with other musicians, and in 1999 Eric released a solo album entitled "Dead Horse Town." After a few years of playing separately, they began collaborating again in 2001, recording sporadically and performing a handful of shows over the next two years. In 2003 Eric and Craig formed a project, writing and recording several songs together until October of the following year.

In late 2004 Adam, Craig, and Eric decided to reform Hank Crane, and began rehearsing early in 2005 with new member Eric Faulkner (an old friend and former member of Eric's solo band). The band has just finished their full-length CD "Hollow" for the newly-formed Gunslinger Music Corporation, which will be released later this year. Hank Crane can currently be seen performing throughout New England.
