It has taken many years of hard work to put together this poetry anthology. It started as just a hobby when I was about 16 or so, but as time went by it became an obsession. All but a couple of the poems of totally about love - winning and losing. As you read through the book, I hope you will be able to relate to some of the experiences about which I have written. People change over time which is why you will see the different styles and different recollections. Even as I entered poems into the word processor from typewritten form, I recalled the events that led to the composition of certain pieces. Some pertain to a guy in the Navy, and today with the crisis in Iraq, probably many of you can relate to that. Some of you may even be able to relate to having a crush on someone you really haven't met but know about through the media (movies and music). I use poetry as a way for me to escape reality, to delve into things I feel inside and cannot express as well as a means for seeing how I would like my life to be. As you read, please feel free to enter into my world and share it with me, feel the things I feel, hear the things I hear, and dream the things I dream. That's what the book is all about, entering into someone else's dream and sharing it with them!
