A Practical Look at the Lord's Relationship With Us Tim Shook was born in the Midwest and raised in Toledo, Ohio. He joined the Army in 1966, serving in Vietnam in 1969. His last duty station was at Fort Carson, Colorado. Upon his discharge from the Army, Tim attended Nazarene bible college in Colorado Springs. The highlight of Tim's ministerial preparation was his graduation from George Fox College in 1991 with a Master of Arts in Christian Education. Tim has been a Pastor and Bible teacher for over 20 years. He currently serves his local church as a Minister of Christian Education and Church Growth. Tim is a no-nonsense writer who likes to present the nuts and bolts of Christian development. Though he will quickly tell you that by nature learning is uncomfortable, he makes you feel right at home with it. Once you pick up this book to read it, you will feel as though you are sitting in Tim's classroom and that he is speaking directly to you. If you are not afraid to grow and you understand that to do so you must leave your comfort zone, then you are ready to read what Tim writes. This is by no means a religious book. Tim always writes from the authority of the Scriptures, and he leaves it between you and the Holy Spirit as to what you do with what you have learned.
