Details:
Harold Mark Jordan is one of the greatest singer/songwriters I have ever heard!
Rita Puryear Jonesboro, Arkansas

Singer/Songwriter Harold Mark Jordan was born in 1960 in southeast Missouri, growing up in the small town of Gideon. He began performing in church with his family and wrote his first song at the age of 8. His first public performances outside of church were as a duo with his brother Tony. As a junior in high school he began performing solo at the Bootheel Jamboree in Bernie, Missouri. After high school he began performing in clubs throughout the region with various bands and as a solo artist. He also had a 20 year career as a Disc Jockey at several southeast Misssouri radio stations. During the eighties, Harold Mark Jordan joined a band called Easy Street from Kennett, Missouri, and for four years they were produced by Roland Janes and recorded exclusively at Phillips Recording in Memphis, Tennessee. Over the past few years, Harold Mark Jordan has devoted himself exclusively to perfoming, writing and recording, most recently in the Catskill Mountain region of upstate New York. Harold Mark with his wife Debbie, were recently living in Gallatin, TN until April 7th, 2006, when their home and recording studio were wiped out by an F4 tornado. They have since relocated to Masonville, NY, just East of Binghamton where they own and operate Racheland Music Recording Studio, which was named after his daughter Rachel, who is very talented in her own right...and the best is yet to come!
