Topics and regions may, however, be varied in order to deal with particular issues important nationally or locally at the time Practical Work: The emphasis of practical work varies throughout the course. Students will, however, be introduced to documentary, statistical and cartographical sources of information and will use data from these sources as a basis for the discussion of regional differentiation and the causes and nature of social and economic change.
