Humble b is a song oriented, indie roots-rock band from Reno, Nevada which was formed in the spring of 2003. They play rock n roll music influenced by the likes of Wilco, Pavement, The Flaming Lips, (a few more), and many more. Humble b was originally formed when Ryan Collier (vocals/guitar), Brendon Lund (bass/vocals), and Jason Loughmiller (drums) decided to try something new after the falling out of their previous band Genesee Drive (RIP). With the addition of Joe Toth (guitar/vocals) Humble b was formed into the incarnation which it has come to be today. After playing and writing for a while they decided to record a six song e.p. entitled 'IMYTL' with the help of Mike Furlong and Jon Abrams. They ended up releasing their e.p. in December, 2005. Humble b is currently playing gigs around Reno and are expanding to a broader area including Lake Tahoe and Northern California. They are also currently working on a new album.
