PETE HUTTLINGER

Pete Huttlinger graduated cum laude from Berklee College of Music in 1984. During the years since, he has established himself as a top-notch session player, composer, arranger, bandleader, songwriter and sideman. He toured, recorded and performed on television with John Denver from 1994 until the singerâs death in 1997. As a must-have sideman, he occupied some pretty choice real estate, including the Hollywood Bowl and Londonâs Royal Albert Hall with Denver, Caesarâs Palace in Las Vegas with George Burns and stadiums and recording studios around the world with numerous other pop and country superstars including LeAnn Rimes, SheDaisy, Faith Hill and many others. Competing at the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, Kansas, Huttlinger matched licks with 37 of the nimblest guitarists in the world to win the 2000 National Fingerpicking Guitar Championship.

Huttlinger has been a featured artist with the San Diego and Houston Symphonies and is a favorite guest artist of the Nashville Chamber Orchestra. He has performed on numerous Grammy-winning and Grammy-nominated projects and has been nominated for an Emmy for music he both composed and performed for a PBS special. He has been featured on the cover of Fingerstyle Guitar twice, and has been profiled in Guitar Player, Acoustic Guitar, Vintage Guitar and Guitar World Acoustic.

In 2004 Huttlinger was one of only three acoustic guitar players invited to be a part of Eric Claptonâs Crossroads Guitar Festival in Dallas, Texas.

Huttlinger lives in Nashville and plays everywhere!
