Audiences throughout the San Francisco Bay Area have come to love the rocking, wholesomely entertaining music of The Hipwaders. Chris and Tito formed The Hipwaders over a dozen years ago after meeting at their jobs as paramedics. The Hipwaders performed their original "Power Pop" in numerous clubs, festivals, and coffee houses throughout the Bay Area. After discovering the joys (and tribulations) of starting a family and raising their own kids, The Hipwaders began taking their same upbeat songwriting approach towards entertaining their own children. With lyrics that deal with kid concerns and interests The Hipwaders recorded their first album, "The Smile Project" which garnered them a 2004 Parents' Choice Award.
The Hipwaders have been performing steadily since 2004 and have become favorites at the Jelly Belly Candy Factory in Fairfield. The Hipwaders approach of not "talking down" to children has gained them fans of all ages who appreciate music that is fun, upbeat, and rocks!
