Introduction:
PassGenerator is a security program to generate random passwords consisting of small letters, capital letters or digits, with an arbitrary number of characters. PassGenerator should be used when a text password is needed, instead of generating the password manually. A password generated by PassGenerator is less regular and more difficult to guess than a manually generated password of the same length.
Usage:
Number of characters: Sets the number of characters for the generated password. Minimum number of characters: 1. Maximum number of characters: 255.
Use capital letters / small letters / digits: Forces the password to have capital letters / small letters / digits. If an option is unchecked, capital letters / small letters / digits will not be part of generated password. At least one option needs to be checked.
Show password: Shows the password as clear text. Shows the password as a sequence of * when unchecked.
Generate: Generates a random password with the current settings.
Copy: Copies the current password to the clipboard. PassGenerator does not store passwords, so the password information will be lost when the program is closed or a new password is generated.
