The Heard has been playing since 2002 when four singer-songwriters joined forces to produce a folk-rock-country-bluegrass-jazz group with four part harmonies and a blend of acoustic instruments. Think Kate Wolfe meets Crosby Stills and Nash with a dash of Peter, Paul and Mary thrown in. Now add some Sam Bush and a bit of old time rock and roll and⦠well, you get the picture. We just call it Impure Folk! The Heard plays songs that can carry you away, put a smile on your face and sometimes even make you cry. This is music for your Saturday morning cup of coffee... and for your Saturday night microbrew. Rich vocal harmonies balanced by crisp instrumental work, all original.
