Brief history of ERNAN and his Song âThe Childrenâ

An independent artist/songwriter/producer, who received no formal education in music but learned his first lesson from street friends. He dedicated one of his songs entitled â The Childrenâ to all as a reminder for the next generation. The said song is registered and catalogued by Nordic Copyrights Bureau/ STIM and BUMA/STEMRA (101ERNAN2005).

The composer/ producer, very much determined to bring his song to as much people as possible, was inspired to write this piece by his own father who survived the 2nd world war loosing a father, two sisters and a brother. Being the eldest son in the family, a bread winner during and after the war at a very young age of twelve, lately surviving an embolism stroke at age of 74. A real survivor, like the composer himself, many of todays youth had experienced the same struggles.

An engineer, Ernan had worked for a company involved in the use and development of non conventional energy in his country during the oil crisis and later in Middle East, where he had worked for various industrial construction mostly related to power, desalination, dockyard, oil and gas. Had also witnessed the first Gulf War in 1990-1991.

A former member of a church choir, part time singing DJ and events host in bars, clubs and other party venues. Had written songs mostly romantic and rock ballads, alternative, rock,inspirational and pop, but have not yet produced many of them because of financial reasons.

Presently a member of STIM, an organization of songwriters, composers and publishers mostly from Sweden where he had stayed from mid 90s to mid 2000s. Now a resident of The Netherlands.
