Situations and conversations that emerge out of a working class life are mostly the subject matter of Ericâs songs:

Bringing an original mix of Rock, Country & Pop with a modern groove to 100s of towns and cities around the world both solo
and with his band has given Ericâs career a troubadour-like foundation.

âI have a deep respect for music history, but this has never kept me from embracing new developments. I think that this has given my music a contemporary feeling backed with substance.â

Taking the sound out of his head and bringing it to life has always been the thrill of song writing and Ericâs driving force.
Eric tries to be inclusive in sharing that sound with the listeners.
Even if sometimes he has to announce to his Audience âHere comes an experiment!â

With the release of his first solo album âRiseâ on BMG / CH in â98â Eric found that making the journey from âSinger in a bandâ to âSolo Artistâ was not easy:

âThe common bond and support that comes from
five guys sharing responsibilities now looks like a luxury.
Building up enough belief in oneâs self to take on the task of living as a solo musician can be a big challenge. But the support of the listening public has always kept me going.â

Having had a brief taste of the pop star life as a young singer in NYC being produced by Paul Stanley and then later touring and making records in Europe with the rock group China, Eric learned that the only way to sustain a career past the Industry Imposed âSell-By Dateâ was to stay fit and become a competent songwriter and performer:

âYou have to reach as many people as possible and build a fan base that doesnât care about the music bizzâ flavour of the month.â
