Hello,

My name is Erik Johnson and my dad started getting
instruments for me at the age of eight years old. I've been playing music ever since.

I am a singing drummer; however, I play a few different instruments: piano, flute, harmonica, vibraphone, marimba, conga, tambourine.

I was a percussion major at the University of the District of Columbia, in Washington, DC. before deciding to dive into the music business full-time. You see, music is a life-long love for me, and I have put "my all" into each and every song I write and perform.

At present time I am the CEO of Nal.Selc. Publishing Company and leader of a band called Natural Selection. We perform at the Channel Inn Hotel and Restaurant, in the Engine Room. It is a great spot because it is located on Washington, DC's very own waterfront. You can hear us five nights a week and on any given night, you will here one of the cuts from my CD played live by the band.
