Eric Benjamin Gordon is one of those "finds" that all too often goes unfound. He lives in the "boonies," and his opportunities to "play out" are made more difficult by his disability; but to be honest, we saw him perform several times before we had any idea that he was legally blind.

Eric's self-titled debut CD is all the more impressive because he performs on drums, bass, electric and acoustic guitar, keyboards, and vocals. The shift between instruments seems effortless for Eric, and the passion and soul shine through in every note. It isn't work...it just is. Eric's songwriting ranges from raw to righteous, and his knowledge and appreciation of the best of Rock & Roll compliments the straight-forward delivery of his message on every track. (And if you don't think "Will to Survive" is one of the best Rock anthems you've ever heard, I'll personally say a prayer for your lost Rock & Roll soul!)
