Details:
Esther OâConnor

Esther began her musical career in 2000 when she signed a major publishing deal with BMG, then six months in after that followed it by signing a major recording contract with EMI Chrysalis. Her first album was recorded it at Sarm West and Townhouse studios in London.

Her single release in Scotland received immediate play listings and rave reviews on all the major Scottish radio Stations. (AA listed on Clyde) as well as being played in the notorious âQueen Vicâ in Eastenders. She has performed at major live venues right across the U.K (T in the park 3 years in a row), V festivals, and a support at the Clyde Auditorium. She has also had the opportunity to play her music live on major radio stations (Radio Scotland, Beat 106 and Clyde 1)

Esther released an independently produced album in 2003 to reviews that describe the album as one âwhich its inherent beauty grows more apparent with every playâ. Since then she has performed and worked with the likes of Dougie MacLean (Caledonia, and one of the writers for âThe last of the Mohicansâ sound track.) JJ Gilmour (formally of the silencers), Graeme Duffin, (Wet, Wet, Wet guitarist), Carol Kidd (acclaimed Jazz singer) and Paul Leonard Morgan (string arranger for Bell and Sebastian and many film and advertising projects).

Currently she is working with a high-energy band of accomplished musicians, and is regularly gigging around both Scotland and England. She is releasing her second album âRight Hereâ in the New Year.

âEstherâs voice wraps purity and passion in one single gob smacking entityâ (Crossrythms magazine)

âReminiscent of Fleetwood Macâs Stevie Nicksâ (Sunday Mail)

âEsther sings so so sweetâ ( J.J Gilmour)

âEsther sings with integrity and honesty, every sing tells a story, a beautiful, mature clear voiceâ (Carol Kidd MBE)
