Richey Estcourt is from eastern England, and records music in a style that merges pop, ambient and electronica, approximately in the vein of Brian Eno's early solo works, or Moby's more recent releases.

After playing bass guitar in a few bands in his teens, Richey began to play keyboards and write electronic music sometime around late 1998. Over the next few years, his compositions developed, and he found himself earning compliments from his demos posted on sites such as Soundclick and Myspace.

The Rotating Records label was formed in April 2006 to release his first album proper, 'Rotating World'. the album, which features eight original tracks was recorded and mixed over a period of eight months and reflects the influences of synthpop, ambient, world and jazz music.
