Matt Eltringham began playing the guitar at age seven. He formed a rock trio with his brothers, Fred (currently of The Wallflowers)and Dave. Matt studied privately and grew up playing around the Philadelphia area in several local original bands including Love Bomb and Deep Six. After taking a break to raise a family, he has come back with a whole new approach and an arsenal of shredding guitar anthems. He displays a huge catalog of styles and constantly goes places musically that force him to think differently about how to play the guitar. Matt's new CD, Truth Guitar, shows off his prowess and songwriting ability. The six instrumental tracks bring to mind everything from Joe Satriani to Steve Morse. He states that his instrumental music should be considered Christian music because it is inspired by and played for his Creator. The other tracks contain Christian based lyrics and beautiful song arrangements.
