The Electrocult is a three piece rock group heavily influenced by rock and roll, electronic dance, and punk rock. The band also being heavily influenced from Japanese rock acts and fashion incorporates the eccentric japanese style into the music and style. The group originated in 1998 under the name "The Fetish Masquerade" and have been playing live shows ever since around Ontario. The band now has lived in London Ontario Canada for three years.
The Electrocult have finally released a new EP independently, titled "Up to my knees in Programmed Blood". They have gained a loyal following throughout Ontario of electro, indie, punk, pop, and goth fans. The Electrocult have been nominated for both the "Jack Richardson Music Awards" and the "London Music Awards" for the Best Electronic Band of 2005.
Now with a full length album in the works, The Electrocult storm across Ontario with their lightning bolts of Rock and roll.
