Band Bio: In the late winter of 2004, inspired by The White Stripes, Earl Clifton decided to buy his wife the best snare drum he could afford to buy for her birthday. He began teaching Betty basic beats on the solo drum as he played along side her with an old acoustic guitar. Betty seemed to be a natural and before long the lone snare was surrounded by the remaining pieces that became a complete drum kit. The new found hobby of sorts became a band with the addition of a bass player, Nikki Baskette, and with Nikki also came the Pin-Ups tag onto Earls name hence Earl Clifton And The Pin-Ups was adopted as the title for the group. After some time, Nikki went separate ways to continue college and the original two-piece (Earl and Betty) were left to search for her replacement. With no luck, Earl decided to keep moving forward with the project and within a years passing their sonic creations had been recorded, produced, and packaged! A summer and fall tour for 2006 are the next step to support and promote this debut CD, as well as a follow up album to be released sometime in 2006.

Starting in spring of 2006, Earl and Betty will perform a studio show titled The GSA Sessions. Each month a one-hour show will be performed in front of a live studio audience at GSA Records, hosted by Earl. The show will have band interviews; cover songs, and acoustic sets. Select tracks will be posted for free downloads on the GSA Records website, the entire show will be available for DJs to podcast on the web, and the shows will be available for purchase on CD-R!
