RECORD:
This album is a declaration of hope into hopeless situations across the globe. Native American culture and value system in an inspirational, insightful, intelligent, introspective message that quite frankly, "somebody's gatta tell-â

It asks why do we like what we like? Why do we love what we love? But even more in this world, what the heck is going on?

Recorded in 2005/06, some production includes
Danja (beat bandits NYC -immortal tech / krs one...),

Penaman Music (from NY but recorded out of Nashville- onyx, fat joe, chica...),

No Comp Productions (Los Angeles- sev static...)

Tracks were done in New York, Nashville, or Los Angeles; some vocals were recorded in Oklahoma. Erick (Elucid Recordings) and Dre Murray (blueprint now church boy ent) helped enormously in that process, with Erick @ elucid on the mastering.

This album has mind blowing vocal features by Cam, Calvin Nowell, & Sammy Sylvester.

Mass Appeal is the digital media force behind the art graphics, web site etc.

In this album Emcee One goes completely transparent with us, and lets us live and learn from his life of abuse, neglect, parental drug use, and death. In this story of death we are bein lead unmistakably back to life, a new life, with hope, a hope found in the Creator and His work on earth. It's a snapshot of our world, our culture, and our lives, from behind the son glasses of God. (Son is used correctly there, as it's a word play) ;)

ARTIST: Native American / Puerto Rican Hip Hop?

Emcee One is three tribes: Osage, Potawatomi, Delaware, plus Puerto Rican. He travels full time performing music or working with his consulting company HundredFold / one innertainment. With HundredFold he travels leading trainings, workshops, and conferences on healthy lifestyles, positive choices, abstinence, and leadership in schools, detention centers, youth programs, and tribal reservations.

He was Born and raised in San Jose Ca, lived and worked there as well as in Los Angeles, Nashville, and Oklahoma. Oklahoma is where the Native American side of his family is from. It is also home to his Wife who together with Him agreed not to even kiss until marriage. Wow!

August 11th 2001 He & His wife kissed for their first time at the altar. Now they enjoy a beautiful baby boy!

In the early 90's he began to record music, and perform at clubs and car shows. Dj'd at major clubs, concerts. Co-founded a hip hop group "culture shock camp" which has led to write-ups in the Source Magazine, and newspapers nation wide. It was at the point "culture shock camp" began to perform with Ludacriss, 50cent, genuine, etc He left the secular music scene to soak up the Word of God. Now armed with the knowledge of clubs, emcee battles, and the Word he returns to pick up where he left off only this time with a bold new message of life, and hope.

His favorite quote is from another rapper "KRS-ONE"

"Some give gifts that fit upon mantels-
While others give the gift of positive examples."
Thanks for your interest,
Shalom!
