Evan Jaffee is currently a singer, songwriter and guitarist, in the most original Rock n Roll band to hit the New York City music scene in the past 30 years. The band is called The Real Be Easys. Check em out online at: www.realbeeasys.com

Evanâs writing has been influenced by Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Iggy Pop, The Rolling Stones, Parliament Funkadelic, Sly and the Fam, The Red Hot Chili Peppers in addition to many other âold schoolâ classic rock artists.

Evan credits his older brother Brian largely for his musical influences. Brian pumped Led Zeppelin, Pearl Jam, Jimi Hendrix, and the Doors through the house during all hours of the day. Playing the guitar since he was eight years old, he formed his first band at the age 11, and since then Evan has devoted all his time to writing, creating, playing, and thinking about music. While attending Boston University, Evan and his current rhythm section, won the rock radio station sponsored, prestigious and much publicized, Boston University Battle of The Bands.

Evan recorded his CD in 2004 at M&I studios NYC. Recording alongside a world class rhythm section consisting of Anton Fig of the David Letterman Late Show Band, Pete Cannarozzi and Tinker Barfield of Ashford and Simpson, and Lorenza Ponce, violinist for Bon Jovi, Dixie Chicks, Sheryl Crow. All tracks were mixed by Kevin Shirley, renowned for his work with Aerosmith, Journey, The Black Crowes, and Led Zeppelin and mastered by Tony Gillis; both at the Hit Factory in NYC.

For the past year Evan has been a resident of NYCâs East Village and looks to take the Real Be Easys to the next level.
