This new CD features some heavy weight indie artist such as the group 'Simon Apple' which features special guest John Helliwell of the rock group "SUPERTRAMP". Their album including their songs on this CD, was mixed by Grammy-winning engineer, David Leonard (Paul McCartney, Rush, Prince, Tony Bennett, Avril Lavigne, Santana, Toto, kd lang, Chick Corea, Barenaked Ladies, John Mellencamp, Hootie & The Blowfish, Indigo Girls, Jackson Browne, etc).
Also on the album is national recording artist âELIâ with the title track âStrongâ. Formally signed with Forefront/EMI Records ELI now as an indie artist is taking his music and message beyond just the selling of CDâs.
The album also includes the return of songwriter Josh Davis with the very inspiring song âBeautiful Scarsâ. Canadian rocker Dave Pura contributes to the album with the catchy song you will surely be singing called âBling Blingâ. Last albums most downloaded artist James Whitescarver returns with two classic acoustic rock songs, "I Found You" and "Lookin Good". Charity Chapman debuts on this album with the very moving âIf I Could Flyâ.
These songs bring to mind the first time you heard Cat Stevens, Chicago, Santana, Cindy Lauper and Billy Joel. If any these songs move you in a special way, or reflect a personal story, the publisher would like to hear from you at the enclosed e-mail address. Artist for a Cure CD arranged and produced by Edward Stroop, President Song House Publishing and Song House Records.
