And "There'll Be a Bunch of New Tunes on This Old Piano" wouldn't have come about if the Old-Time Music Preservation Association hadn't added a New Rag competition to the other events at the World Championship Old-Time Piano Playing Contest (held every Memorial Day weekend at the Hotel Pere Marquette in Peoria, IL).
