The ORPLID BLUES BAND plays a puristical delta country blues style. The band starts as a three piece band and is now playing with Leo, Josepha, Sven and Erik. Leo plays the slide guitar and influences the music in a special way. Josepha is boosting the puristical character of the Orplid-Blues with her kind of playing the drums. Sven plays a sensitive bass and delivers the compact fundament for the band. Erik ( vocal/bass/acoustic guitar) interprets the small stories as the singer of the band.
Trademarks of the band are the live-recordings by using a very small technical equipment. The first song the band published was âLeo´s Bluesâ and that tune gave the direction for the following blues songs.
