In 1993, performance artist Tom Mundahlâthe world's only surviving thalidomide babyâhad a bad trip after smoking carpet lint. And the Spirit of the Bunge came to him and possessed him: he became the Reverend Poky Bunge! Amen!

From 1993 to 2000, Reverend Poky Bunge tore up a lackluster local music scene with their wild shenanigans and bizarre stage shows, garnering the worldwide recognition as the original progenitors of the Tardcore musical movement, only to fall apart after two of the original members had fled to the hills, with the Militias, in anticipation of the failed Millennium Apopyclypse.

In 2003, after many false starts, a few commitments, a failed marriage to a young Thai hooker, a religious conversion and subsequent excommunication, drugs, drugs and more drugs plus a lot of heavy drinking, plenty of sunshine, the return of one shameful member back from the hills, Reverend Poky Bunge has returned with a new double album on one CD, "Decade of Deficance," celebrating over thirteen years of The Bunge! (Yes, thirteen years and 'decade' don't make a lick of sense. But, c'mon mother f*ckers! this is such a great name for a record!)
