"Joel's practical sensibility really was the springboard that got us going," Wallie explains. "He has the ability to take something from start to finish without getting distracted along the way, which is important on a project like this."

Wallie's garage doubled as a music studio. Gradually, the garage got smaller, the studio got bigger, and the music got, of course, better.

"Wallie is a visionary, a glass is half full kind of guy," says Joel. Writing music is something I've had in my heart a long time, and when others said it wasn't practical, Wallie encouraged me to go for it. And it's been a great experience working on this together."

The truck driver and other friend Al,(who God has given a great voice) went to Nashville and recorded Beyond. The two call themselves West Heaven. Because of the truck drivers love for country and WESTern music and the song are about HEAVEN thus WEST HEAVEN was born.
