You may have heard her voice on the airwaves. In the Rocky Mountain region and beyond, sheâs a juggling mom, singing, âIâm lovinâ itâ for a McDonaldâs jingle, and she has had several of her original songs on numerous episodes of NBC reality shows during prime time TV. Brenda Harp toured with Richie Furay, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, as a vocalist/keyboardist in his band. Harp performed at venues such as Red Rocks Amphitheatre, The Troubadour, Humphreyâs and The Soiled Dove. Brenda also had the opportunity to open for Phil Keaggy, Richie Furay, and Emily Lou Harris.

Brenda Harp is an accomplished singer-songwriter and performer. Her carefully crafted lyrics tell quite a bit about the artist behind the music. Her talent is pure and refined, yet she is always seeking new avenues of expression, new ways to grow musically. Vocally and stylistically, she carries tremendous versatility, from folk to alternative to jazz standards, as well as rock and roll. Her unerring pitch and quality of voice can make any PA system sound fantastic. She is truly a musician who strives for excellence and depth in all facets of her career.

Her sophomore release, At The Waterâs Edge, (October, 2001) has been enormously well received. Masterfully produced by both Ed Edwards and Brenda Harp, At the Waterâs Edge contains 11 original songs, with a bit of a departure in style and content from her first album. Bridging life experience and faith, the stories recorded on At The Waterâs Edge probe and question and even address some of lifeâs toughest issues.

Highlights since the release of At The Waterâs Edge include a much broader distribution of the CD, radio play on local stations and web radio, and airing on national prime time television, with numerous tracks airing on separate episodes of NBCâs âMeet My Folks,â âWho Wants to Marry My Dad?â and âAmericaâs Next Top Model.â

Her debut CD, The Road Home, (1998) has been released several times since it has such enduring popularity. This collection of original songs is truly top-drawer material.

After 12 years in Colorado, Brenda recently transitioned to Southern California, where she is broadening her musical horizons and writing new material for her upcoming project. Brenda balances teaching private piano/vocal lessons while maintaining a focus on pursuing her musical career and touring nation-wide. With great anticipation, we wait to hear and know more.
